Hotel Orlando

We have been there for two days. It was the worst stay ever. We booked as I used booking.com and there were no bad reviews. when I checked Google later, I saw that many had the same bad experience! Let me share what was bad: on arrival at 3pm, we didn't get any drinks, as the bar tender was sick. the receptionist wasn't able to offer any drinks. At 5pm the cleaning lady handed out some drinks, but no wine as she didn't know how to open a bottle. At the dinner all orders dishes came in random order: some got starter, some main course and some side dishes (without main dish). It took 90min to serve first plates. The meet was soft, but frozen inside! The second day was even worse, we arrived at 2:30pm. Again no drinks until 5pm. We ordered food at 8pm in the restaurant, we also ordered meet and asked for well cooked this time. After 90min we were told there is no meet! Again the same chaos, some got starters, some main dishes, some side dishes, and some nothing. A colleague ordered a Tomato-Mozzarella salat with Onions. He waited 2 hours for that, and when it came, it was a Tomato-Mozzarella salat without Onions. We insisted to get onions as well, and it was sent back to kitchen. After another hour (!) the salat came back, this time it was a Tomato Onion salat, no Mozarella. You can't go somewhere else, as the hotel is far away form any other city. If I would have read the bad comments in Google first, I never would have booked that hotel!

worst stay in sardinia! We stayed one night in this hotel a month ago. After our check in we arrived at our room which looked good at first sight. Soon we found out that there were blood stains in the sheets. Shortly afterwards we noticed that there were carpet beetles in the room. Despite the fact that you are staying in a wooded area, this is very unhygienic! We went to shower after a long drive. No towels in the room. Soon after, a lot of noise. A large motorcycle club that parks the motorcycles right in front of our room. This while we were told to put vehicles in the parking lot further away. There was a lot of noise with music from the motorcyclists. This was the pinnacle for us. The receptionist promised to calm the situation but that took a very long time! We had dinner in the restaurant at the hotel in the evening. Staff speaks almost no English, the food was very poor and little choice. Prices very high! Bad price / quality! We went to the reception with all the things that didn't go well. We were promised a refund. We called several times after returning home because the refund was not forthcoming. We still haven't received anything. We are not after money, but if something is promised, then this agreement must be fulfilled. We travel a lot in a year and book many hotels but have never experienced this! This gives us a honest review about the bad service and negligence of this hotel.

The hotel is located on top if hill which makes the view from it beautiful and gives a feeling of being isolated on remote place. We only went there for the restaurant and the food is just amazing. Growing their own products they always have a story about each ingredients in the plate. The staff is really kind and always helpful. The rooms look amazing ans we will definitely stay there next time. Beautiful swimming pool in the center to relax after a warm day. Flowers is also important to mention as there’s plenty everywhere and well maintained. Highly recommended for exclusive experience

We had a very bad experience i this hotel. The air conditioning does not cool down the room and internet is all over the hotel very unstable and mainly not available. What upset us most was the behavior of the receptionist Francesco who tried to convince us that we did not know how to deal with the air conditioning. On a second occasion when our room was not cleaned, the receptionist Alessandra gave as another room. Later that evening, Francesco argued with us that it was our fault again. It was a bitter discussion on something that had already been taken care of. From this moment on, my daughter and I avoided the most to step through reception if he was sitting there. It was really stressful. I really regret to have chosen this hotel for vacation in my beloved Sardegna.
